M&M to launch XUV500 in Italy, Australia and Chile

Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is gearing up to launch XUV500 in Italy, Australia and Chile soon. In this regard, the company will increase the output of XUV500 to 4,000 units by May from the earlier 3,000 units.

The company is in the process of delivering the bookings of 7,500 orders that were selected through a lottery following excessive demand. The company also exports XUV500 to South Africa.

However, the company earlier slowed international launches of its sports utility vehicle to meet the domestic demand.
