-96.30 (-1.01%) Bajaj Auto, the country’s second largest two-wheeler maker’s monthly sales (excluding exports) for April 2012 rose by 4% at 381,590 units against 367,309 in the same month last year. The exports for the month rose 7% and the numbers of units sold were 169,010 units against 158,422 in the same period last year.
The company has posted a 19.19% rise in net profit at Rs 795 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2011 against Rs 667 crore for the same period last year. It has reported revenues at Rs 4,840 crore for the quarter under review up by 21.61% against Rs 3,980 for the same quarter a year ago.
