Tata Motors, the country’s largest automobile company, is planning to set-up virtual reality showrooms, which would give potential buyers a five-dimension experience. This step is being taken to attract tech-savvy customers. To begin with, the company will set up virtual showrooms only in key metros and depending on the customer response, it shall be extended to other cities as well. First of such showrooms are expected to come up by second half of 2017.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
