Coal India Ltd.

Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner by output, has reported provisional production of 54.20 million tones (MT) in December 2016, as against a target of 56.69 MT. The company’s total off-take for the month of December stood at 51.46 MT, as against a target of 52.43 MT.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
