SBI strengthens on concluding $500 million bond issue

State Bank of India (SBI) is currently trading at Rs. 258.50, up by 2.35 points or 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 256.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 256.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 258.80 and Rs. 256.50 respectively. So far 1,76,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 288.50 on 11-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 148.30 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 258.80 and Rs. 248.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,00,823.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.09% and 9.73% respectively.

SBI has concluded the issue of $500 million fixed rate Senior Unsecured Notes with maturity of five years at a coupon of 3.25 per cent payable semi-annually under Regulation-S. The bonds will be issued through the Bank’s London branch as of January 24, 2017, and will be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
