Wipro reports 6% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

The company has reported 4.60% fall in its net profit at Rs 1918.50 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2011.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 1.02% at Rs 12018.10 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 11896.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 5.70% fall in its net profit after tax, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 2109.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 2237.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.56% to Rs 14336.40 crore for quarter under review from Rs 13580.90 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
