Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company has reported 16.59% rise in its net profit at Rs 934.18 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 801.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased marginally at Rs 16444.94 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 16444.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 38.86% rise in its net profit after tax, non-controlling interest and share in profit of joint ventures / associates at Rs 972.47 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 700.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 1.43% to Rs 26543.81 crore for quarter under review from Rs 26169.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
