FIIs net buyers of Rs 226.86 crore in futures and options segments on May 10

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 226.86 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, May 10, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 45.54 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 371.01 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 160.53 crore, and they also bought stock options worth Rs 29.16 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 10, 2012 is 30.98%.
