JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 13.85 million ton (MT) in January 2017 with a growth of 49% over the corresponding month in 2016. The production of rolled products (long) increased to 2.97 MT compared to 2.51 MT in January 2016, representing a growth of 18%. The production of rolled products (flat) during the quarter increased to 10.31 MT, a rise of 38%, as compared to 7.47 MT in January 2016.
