Jain Irrigation Systems reports 59% rise in Q4 net profit

Jain Irrigation Systems has reported results for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012

The company has posted a rise of 58.73% in its net profit at Rs 173.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 109.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 0.21% at Rs 1238.80 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 1236.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a fall of 9.03% in its net profit at Rs 268.60 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 295.27 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 13.68% at Rs 3797.31 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3340.24 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
