Tata Steel Ltd.

Tata Steel has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.  

The company has reported over four-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1204.60 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 298.35 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.91% at Rs 14203.84 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 10225.55 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 231.90 crore for Q3FY17, as compared to a net loss of Rs 2747.72 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.14% at Rs 29521.67 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 25865.28 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
