Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.  

The company has reported 20.16% rise in its net profit at Rs 1930.02 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1606.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 23.94% at Rs 6787.51 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 5476.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
