Spanco reports 14% rise in its Q4 net profit

Spanco has reported results for the quarter and the year ended March 31, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the fourth quarter has rose 13.63% at Rs 23.18 crore as compared to Rs 20.40 crore for the same quarter last year. Total income has jumped by 22.78% at Rs 454.61 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 370.25 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.

The company has registered rise of 18.60% in its net profit for the year ended March 31, 2011 at Rs 73.38 crore as compared to Rs 61.87 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. Its total income has increased by 23.57% at Rs 1471.48 crore for the year from Rs 1190.79 crore in previous year.
