FIIs net sellers of Rs 51.79 crore in futures and options segments on May 11

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 51.79 crore in futures and options segments on Friday, May 11, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 379.35 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 327.56 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 49.05 crore, and they bought stock options worth Rs 36.43 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 11, 2012 was 31.72%.
