Ruchi Soya Industries reports 42% rise in Q4 net profit

Ruchi Soya Industries has reported results for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The company has posted a rise of 41.85% in its net profit at Rs 30.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 21.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 43.66% at Rs 6952.00 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 4839.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a fall of 41.43% in its net profit at Rs 124.87 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 213.20 crore for the same period in the previous year.  However, total income has increased by 55.97% at Rs 25981.48 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 16657.93 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 46.96% in its net profit at Rs 119.42 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 225.16 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 66.17% at Rs 30283.56 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 18224.64 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
