F&O total turnover stood at Rs 154205.44 crore on July 22

Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 154205.44 crore on July 22, and the total numbers of contract traded on the day were 5456366.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 13705.24 crore, Stock Futures Rs 20466.13 crore, and Index Options Rs 115090.86 crore while, the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 4943.21 crore.

For the day the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 0.90 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 0.93 and that of Stock Options was 0.39.

Among most active underlying, Sun Pharma witnessed an addition of 2.76% of Open Interest (OI) in the July month futures contract followed by Asian Paints witnessed an addition of 2.00% of Open Interest (OI) in the near month contract. Meanwhile MRF coupled with Punjab national Bank witnessed an addition of 2.00% and 1.96% respectively of OI in the July month futures respectively. Lastly, Jain Irrigation System witnessed an addition of 1.67% of Open Interest (OI) in the July month futures.
