FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 17 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in equities while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2243.10 crore against gross sell of Rs 2724.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 481.60 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 806.70 crore with gross sales of Rs 587.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 218.90 crore in debt.
