Larsen & Toubro (L&T)’s subsidiary - L&T Construction’s Building and Factories IC has won new order worth Rs 2,592 crore during the first quarter of FY13. Of which, the company has bagged order worth Rs 1,206 crore under residential building segment from leading developers for the construction of multistoried residential towers in Bangalore and Gurgaon including additional work in ongoing projects.

The company secured order worth Rs 1,165 crore in commercial building segment for the construction of a mixed use development, hospital building and other institutional buildings in major cities across India.

In yet another development, the new orders worth Rs 221 crore have been received from leading automobile players for the construction of factories.
