Empower India reports net loss of Rs 1.18 crore in Q4

Empower India has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 1.18 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012, against net loss of Rs 0.52 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. Total income decreased by 35.34% at Rs 27.81 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 43.01 crore in the year-ago period.

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a fall of 81.25% in its net profit at Rs 0.15 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 0.80 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has decreased by 5.49% at Rs 147.94 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 156.53 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
