Sun Pharmaceutical Industries is recalling 83,188 single dose vials of Testosterone Cypionate injection USP, 200 mg/mL, 1 mL vial on account of ‘presence of particulate matter’. The injection is indicated for replacement therapy in males in conditions associated with symptoms of deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone.

As per the the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) the nationwide ongoing voluntary recall by the firm is a class II recall.
