Power Grid gains on entering into loan agreements worth $225 million with ADB

Power Grid Corporation of India (Power Grid) is currently trading at Rs. 195.45, up by 0.70 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 194.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 194.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 196.00 and Rs. 194.25 respectively. So far 6,195 shares were traded on the counter.

Power Grid has entered into loan agreement(s) with Asian Development Bank (ADB) on April 05, 2017 for an amount of $225 million (including $50 million as Clean Technology Fund) for part funding of its Transmission projects associated with Solar Power Parks.

The company had recently received an approval for investment proposals worth Rs 429.21 crore for power transmission related projects. The board of directors at its meeting held on March 29, 2017 had approved for the same.
