Leading dairy firm, Hatsun Agro Products has registered over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 2.82 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31 as against Rs 1.36 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s total income from operations has surged by 28.77% at Rs 433.81 crore in the quarter under review against Rs 336.89 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
For the full year 2011-12 fiscal, the net profit increased to Rs 26.60 crore from Rs 18.74 crore in the previous fiscal while, the total income from operations rose to Rs 1,603.53 crore during last fiscal from Rs 1,355.73 crore in 2010-11.
The company has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.20 per share (20%) on the face value of Re 1 per equity share.
