Idea Cellular reduces 3G tariffs by 70%

Aditya Birla Group Company - Idea Cellular has slashed 3G tariffs by up to 70%. As per the revision, Idea prepaid and postpaid users have to pay 3 paise per 10 KB of data against earlier levels of 10 paise per 10 KB. The move comes after Airtel announced a similar cut in 3G tariffs.

The company aims to increase data usage by offering it at a cheaper rate. It has introduced its new pricing in sachet packs, regular packs and unlimited packs. Customers will get 30 minutes of high speed internet surfing through Idea's new sachet pack of Rs 10. Users will get 100 MB data with 3 days validity at Rs 25 through HERO-25, a new sachet pack. Further, for regular home & SoHo internet users, it has availed 1GB of data download at Rs 250.
