FIIs net sellers of Rs 6.32 crore in index futures and options segments on May 23

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 6.32 crore in index futures and options segments on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 812.25 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 805.93 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 177.19 crore, and they sold stock options worth Rs 6.74 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 23, 2012 stood at 31.80%.
