Borosil Glass Works registers over three-fold growth in Q4 net profit

Borosil Glass Works has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 297.35% in its net profit at Rs 25.47 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 6.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 12.85% at Rs 37.15 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 32.92 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a fall of 94.98% in its net profit at Rs 32.53 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 647.80 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 5.77% at Rs 126.02 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 119.14 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
