Patni Computer Systems reports consolidated net loss of Rs 51.52 crore for Q1

Patni Computer Systems has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2011

The company‘s net profit for the quarter dropped by 46.38% at Rs 82.03 crore against Rs 153 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. Its total income for the quarter under review has registered growth of by 8.83% at Rs 547.80 crore whereas the same was at Rs 503.33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.

On consolidated basis, the group’s posted a net loss of Rs 51.52 crore for the quarter against a net profit at Rs 146.74 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. Its total income has increased by 7.31% at Rs 874.57 crore for the quarter whereas the same was at Rs 815.03 core for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
