Date: 25-05-2012Aditya Birla Group Company - Idea Cellular has added 1.49 million mobile customers in April. Currently, the total Idea Cellular subscribers in the country stand at 114.2 million.
On standalone basis, the company has reported a fall of 25.77% in its net profit to Rs 189.98 crore for the quarter under review against Rs 255.92 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. Total income increased by 26.02% at Rs 5294.62 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 4201.42 crore in the year-ago period.
