FIIs were net buyers of Rs 64.52 crore in index futures and options segments on May 28

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 64.52 crore in index futures and options segments on Monday, May 28, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 96.33 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 31.81 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 296.22 crore, and they sold stock options worth Rs 21.72 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 28, 2012 stood at 31.60%.
