Sonata Software, a leading IT consulting and software services provider, has been featured in the April, 2012 report by Forrester Research Inc., a leading research and  advisory firm. In its report ‘The Move to an Asset-Based Services Play’, Forrester has highlighted SonnetSCOR - Sonata’s BI solution accelerator for supply chain and logistics - as an example of IT services moving towards an asset-based services play.

Sonata has also been featured in the report for leveraging its inorganic strategy, specifically its joint venture with the TUI Group, for adding on vertical-specific assets for the Travel & Tourism vertical.  The report states that the move to adopting solution accelerators as an integral part of an IT solutions, is gaining momentum, thereby signifying the increasing importance of assets to the IT services industry. Providers across consulting, BPO, and outsourcing services are advocating the move to a more modular and scalable solution structure that allows faster and more cost-effective service delivery.
