FIIs were net buyers of Rs 625.67 crore in index futures and options segments on May 29

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 625.67 crore in index futures and options segments on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 216.41 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 409.26 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 326.70 crore, and they sold stock options worth Rs 60.29 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 29, 2012 stood at 31.76%.
