JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 13.57 lakh tonnes in May 2017 with a growth of 1% compared to 13.48 lakh tonnes over the corresponding month in 2016.

The production of rolled products (long) increased to 3.09 lakh tonnes compared to 2.98 lakh tonnes in May 2016, representing a growth of 4%. The production of rolled products (flat) during the month increased to 9.39 lakh tonnes, a rise of 1%, as compared to 9.30 lakh tonnes in May 2016.

JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
