SSWL bags export order from Peugeot Citroen Group

Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has bagged an export order for Peugeot Citroen Group's (PSA) one of the plants in Europe. SSWL has been a strategic partner for PSA, which is the 2nd largest car maker in Europe.

The company has registered a growth of 36.54% in gross sale by achieving gross sale of Rs 1103 lakh in April, 2012 as against 7681 lakh in April, 2011. The net sales of the company have also increased to Rs 996 lakh in April, 2012 from Rs 771 lakh in April, 2011, recording a growth of 35%. The company has achieved highest ever monthly sales in April, 2012.

The company is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors.
