Date: 30-05-2012Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.
The company’s net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012 jumped by 44.18% to Rs 874.48 crore as compared to Rs 606.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. The total income has increased by 38.62% to Rs 9482.79 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 6840.85 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2012, the company’s net profit rose by 8.14% to Rs 2878.89 crore as compared to Rs 2662.10 crore for the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 35.26% to Rs 32319.31 crore for the year from Rs 23894.41 crore in the previous year.
