Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors has revised prices for its range of models following change in tax rates under Goods and Service Tax (GST) system. Prices for the bikes in 350cc category have been decreased, while its higher CC models have seen a price increase in the range of Rs 301 to Rs 2,717 in Chennai.
The company has cut the prices of Bullet 350 by Rs 1,661 and Bullet Electra by Rs 2,211. Prices of Classic 350 and Thunderbird 350 have been slashed by Rs 2,015 and Rs 2,165, respectively. However, Classic 500 will be costlier by Rs 1,490, while Classic Desert Strom and Classic Chrome will see a hike of RS 1,635 and RS 1,477, respectively.
Moreover, Thunderbird 500 and Bullet 500 will be dearer by Rs 1,359 and Rs 1,169, respectively. Price of Himalayan will go up by Rs 2,717, while Continental GT will see an increase of Rs 301.
