National Steel and Agro Industries reports 18% fall in Q4 net profit

National Steel and Agro Industries has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On the standalone basis, the company has posted a fall of 17.92% in its net profit at Rs 5.36 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 6.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 14.40% at Rs 888.76 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 776.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

For the full year ended March 31, 2012 the company has posted a fall of 11.76% in its net profit at Rs 26.18 crore  as compared to Rs 29.67 crore for the same period  in the previous year.  However, total income has increased by 9.33% at Rs 2784.90 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2547.11 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011
