FIIs were net sellers of Rs 633.58 crore in index futures and options segments on May 31

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 633.58 crore in index futures and options segments on Thursday, May 31, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1251.78 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 618.20 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 146.10 crore, and they bought stock options worth Rs 72.91 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on May 31, 2012 stood at 36.05%.
