Gopala Polyplast reports 57.63% fall in Q4 net profit

Gopala Polyplast has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On the standalone basis, the company has posted a fall of 57.63% in its net profit at Rs 1.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 2.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income has decreased by 16.24% at Rs 50.45 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 60.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

For the full year ended March 31, 2012 the company has posted a rise of 532.00% in its net profit at Rs 1.58 crore as compared to Rs 0.25 crore for the same period in the previous year.   However, total income has decreased by 1.69% at Rs 187.72 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 190.95 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
