Tata Motors catches speed on rolling out first batch of 5-seater SUV Nexon

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 461.40, up by 1.20 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 460.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 460.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 462.90 and Rs. 458.00 respectively. So far 52146 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 598.60 on 07-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 417.10 on 08-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 464.10 and Rs. 451.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 133251.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.73%, while institutions and non-institutions held 39.59% and 8.50% respectively.

Tata Motors has rolled out the first batch of its soon-to-be launched 5-seater SUV, the Nexon from its Ranjangaon facility. The Nexon, which may come in the Rs 6-9 lakh price range, is the company’s fourth new generation passenger vehicles and will be commercially launched before Diwali.

Moreover, the company will soon be dispatching the cars to the dealerships. The Tata Nexon is slated for launch during this festive season.

Recently, the company had introduced two new engines - a 1.2 liter petrol from the Revotron series and a 1.5-liter diesel powertrain from the Revotorq family and a new gear box for the new SUV.
