Lumax Industries’ Q1 net profit slips marginally

Lumax Industries has reported results for its first quarter ended June 30, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the quarter has declined marginally by 0.21% at Rs 4.78 crore as compared to Rs 4.79 crore for the same quarter last year. Its total income has increased by 32.84% to Rs 232.66 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 175.14 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Lumax Industries offers a wide array of complete automobile lighting systems and solutions, which include stellar quality head lamps and tail lamps, sundry and auxiliary lamps and other related products and accessories for two-wheelers and four-wheelers such as trucks, buses, earth-movers, tractors and a variety of diverse application.
