Date: 26-07-2017Axis Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2017.
The Bank has reported 16.07% fall in its net profit at Rs 1305.60 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1555.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased marginally by 1.44% at Rs 14052.3 crore for Q1FY18 as compared Rs 13852.18 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 5.03%, as compared to 2.54% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 2.30% in Q1FY18.
