Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has entered into loan agreement with Asian Development Bank (ADB) on August 17, 2017 for an amount of $500 million. The proceeds of the Loan are proposed to be utilized for funding of Green Energy Corridor (Part-D); ±800kV HVDC Bipole link between WR (Raigarh, Chhattisgarh) and SR (Pugalur, Tamil Nadu) and ±320kV VSC based HVDC Link between Pugalur & North Trichur (Kerala).

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
