FIIs net sellers of Rs 1283.66 crore in futures and options segments on July 27

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 1283.66 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, July 27, 2011.

FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 665.48 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 55.81 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 700.22 crore and they bought stock options to the tune of Rs 26.23 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on July 27, 2011 is 31.79%.
