Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported a 22% jump in total sales in August 2017 at 67,977 units, as against 55,721 units in the same month last year. During August 2017, the number of motorcycle units exported, increased by 12% to 1,105 units from 986 units in August 2016.
The company’s sales of vehicles with engine capacity up to 350 cc increased by 29% at 63,637 units in August 2017 against 49,481 units in the same period year ago, while the sales of its vehicles with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc declined by 30% at 4340 units as against 6240 units in August last year.
