58.20 (1.87%) M&M’s US arm pledges $1.5 mn for hurricane Harvey relief
Date: 11-09-2017Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) US based wholly-owned subsidiary Mahindra USA has pledged to contribute $1.5 million for relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts in Texas and Louisiana states where hurricane Harvey has wreaked havoc.
The company is supporting the Greater Houston Community Foundation and the American Red Cross which are directing funds to benefit the areas impacted by Harvey.
M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
