Sirhind Steel reports 15% fall in Q4 net profit

Sirhind Steel has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has posted a fall of 15.49% in its net profit at Rs 1.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 2.13 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.However, total income has increased by 20.75% at Rs 27.58 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 22.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

For the full year ended March 31, 2012 the company has posted a fall of 17.48% in its net profit at Rs 2.69 crore as compared to Rs 3.26 crore in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 55.60% at Rs 104.11 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 66.91 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
