Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has received an approval for investment in Baharampur (Powergrid) — Bheramara (Bangladesh) 2nd 400kV D/c Transmission Line (Indian Portion) at an estimated cost of Rs 198.49 crore with commissioning schedule of 24 months from the date of investment approval. The board of directors at their meeting held on September 19, 2017, has approved for the same. 

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
