NTPC is planning to add 32 GW of clean energy by 2032, in addition to its plan to create 15 GW of solar capacity under National Solar Mission. The power major is also creating electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the country. The company has been a traditional thermal power player with a large number of coal based plants.

Currently, the NTPC Group’s total installed capacity stands at 51,698 MW, which includes 800 MW of hydro, 870 MW of solar and 40 MW of wind capacities.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
