Adani Power accepts resignation of executive director
Date: 12-06-2012Adani Power has informed that the company has accepted the resignation of Ravi Sharma as executive director of the company with effect from June 30, 2012. The company had appointed Vineet Jain as an executive director with effect from May 14, 2012. Mr. Vineet Jain has successfully implemented 4620MW thermal power plant at Mundra, 40MW solar power plant, the world's largest private HVDC transmission network and has been responsible for O&M of operating power plants. He also leads the development of 3300 MW power project at Tiroda, Maharashtra and 1320 MW power project at Kawai, Rajasthan.
After taking over the business development function which was earlier handled Ravi Sharma, Vineet Jain, assumes the overall leadership role of project implementation, O&M and business development initiatives of the power business of Adani group.
