Power Finance Corporation Ltd.

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has reportedly sanctioned a term loan of Rs 4,009 crore to the Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO). The company has sanctioned the same to TSGENCO for the 5X800 MW coal-based Yadadri Thermal Power Plant using super-critical technology in Nalgonda district of Telangana. The Yadadri plant would generate approximately 29,784 million units of energy.

PFC’s cumulative sanction to Telangana stands at Rs 28,210 crore and disbursala towards various projects in generation, transmission and distribution in the state is at Rs 16,156 crore.
