Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has entered into a Term Loan facility agreement for Rs 3,270 crore with ICICI Bank on September 29, 2017 for the purpose of funding of capital expenditure for expansion, renovation and setting of various on-going and new transmission projects in PGCIL and in identified SPVs of the company.

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
